Les Gens Bons du Monastier

December 2014 at the Centre Cultural du Monastier seven local artists worked together to expose their work on the 'pig'.

For the expostion I created a textile piece based on the expression: 'Pigs might fly'

'Pigs Might Fly' is an expression that implies that the impossible could happen, or may never happen.

It is a figure of speech in the form of a hyperbole which insinuates the impossibility.  An expression like this is used to create a strong impression or evoke strong emotions but not to be taken literally.

In french the equivalent is 'Quand les poules auront les dents'.'When chickens have teeth'.  Also implying 'never'
