The concept behind these ceramic renaissance ladies in big skirts, is power.
Stately, or queenly, I play around with the idea of the role of women in society during the age of enlightenment.
Did they influence the courtiers, the governors, the state or royal court with their knowledge and reason. Did their cultured education have a subtle effect in influencing men in important positions, guiding them with wisdom, to make the right choices for humanity.
Humanly compassionate and savvy.
